After spending 10 days in Las Palmas, Grand Carnary Island relaxing and getting some defective parts replace-It is 3PM Las Palmas time and we are heading out of the harbour setting course for St. Marrten in the Carribean. For the first 900 nautical miles (nm) we are heading SW passing with in 200 nm of the Cape Verde Islands. Then we head due west across the Atlantic to St. Marrten-2000nm. We estimate a 15 to 18 days at sea with expected arrival around Feb. 15 to 17th. Canary Island is a lovely place we'll be back when we can spend more time and aren't so distracted.
