We left Charleston and sailed to Morgan Island where we spent the night, a lovely quiet anchorage that is a breeding colony for Rhesus monkeys. We heard the monkeys on the island which you are not allowed onto. A great anchorage. Then on 3/24 we left at 7:30 am and sailed all day to arrive at Hilton Head at 6:30 pm that night. We stayed at Palmetto Bay Marina which is the only Marna that was deep enough for us, a nbut no close to anything. Spent one week exploring Hilton Head Island, we loved Hilton Head that had a 11 mile long beach. We rented bikes and rode the beach.
