Boothbay, Maine is a town of 2334 people but it certainly seems bigger than that. We tied up to a mooring buoy at the Carousel Marina. Town was filled with all kinds of shops for almost anything you could want to buy which isn't our thing. So we decided instead to take the dinghy and go to the Maine State Aquarium. Wow we learned everything there is to know about lobster fishing, great little aquarium. Especially good for kids since it has 2 touch tanks so we had a great time seeing as we're both still kids. Then we took the dinghy over to the Burnt Island Lighthouse which is where the picture below was taken
