Hiking the Duck Harbor Trail

Saturday Aug. 11, 2012 @11AM Captain Bozo took Admiral Joanne on a 3 mile round trip hike  on the Duck Harbor Trail from the Isle au Haut town to Duck Harbor. When we got to Duck Harbor the Admiral being tired and thinking that was a long 1.5 miles look at the trail map discovered that I had miss read the map. The hike was really 3.8 miles ONE WAY. So round trip was 7.6 miles round trip. Needless to say it was a long hike for both of us. I might add that these trails are anything but flat and smooth. They are physically demanding!!
