Nassau

Arrived in Nassau at Coral Harbor at the home of a weather forecaster for Seven Sea's (Nick/Carolyn  Wardle). They have home in Nassau and offer dock space at a minimal fee to other Seven Sea's folks. So for $28 a day we're staying at their dock and enjoying Nassau. We're just here to ride out the weather and get our BTC card (Bahama Telco Internet/Calling card). Gary went down with his new scuba tank to check out the bottom of the boat.
2/12 Rented a car for 2 days and toured the island. Nassau is really cleaning up and developing into a lovely place. Below is a picture of us in The Caves:

We then went to Jaws beach and Clifton Heritage Park which is the site of of a former loyalist plantation with its slave dwelling. If you're interested you can read more about it on the following website http://www.bahamascliftonheritagepark.org/Attractions/sightseeing.php
Below is a picture of me at the bottom of the Stone Steps:

We stopped at The Poop Deck restaurant on our way back to the boat. We picked our own fresh red snapper (catch of the day), they grilled the snapper with 2 sides for both of us for $60, awesome fish.

We're heading out for Highborne Cay tomorrow is the new plan. So looks like I'll be spending my 60th birthday in Highborne in the Exumas.
