Saint Lucia

Arrived in Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia. This will be our 4th stay in this bay. On the way here we decided this is our favorite Bay in the Caribbean. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful and  has a fabulous restaurant (Rainforest Hideaway). We love staying here.....
Marigot Bay is located on the western coast of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. It is surrounded on three sides by steep, forested hills. Marigot Bay is a historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the French and British navies. The bay was used as the setting for the 1967 fim Doctor Dolittle books. Scenes of the shipwreck, Great Pink Sea Snail, and the construction of the harness for the Giant Lunar Moth were filmed in the bay. The American novelist Jame Michener  famously described Marigot Bay as "The most beautiful bay in the Caribbean."

The picture below was taken last night while we enjoyed our wine and appetizer aboard Bozo Cinq....
Tomorrow night dinner at Rainforest Hideaway can't wait.....
