Eagle Island

Eagle Island is a former home of Arctic exploder Admiral Robert Peary the first and only man to lead a party of fellow men to the North Pole without the use of mechanical or electrical devices. . This was awesome....imagine this was built in 1904. We had to dinghy over from Jewell Island since there is no overnight mooring. But it was well worth the 2 mile dinghy ride. Everyone who has the chance should visit the island.
