Salem, Mass


Had an awesome sail (4 hours at 7-8 knots) down to Salem, Mass! Got there just just in time to tie up to a mooring buoy at Brewers Hawthorne Cove Marina obviously not the only ones as you can see by the picture below:

 The Brewer Marina has launches that take to you to and from town simply by calling them on the VHF (how simple). That means we don't have to put in the dinghy which Gary refuses to haul behind the boat. A break for Joanne. On the dinghy ride into town some people recommended the Grapevine restaurant which was awesome. We have had incredible food this whole trip, feel like we're eating our way south. While in Salem we went to the PEM Peabody Essex Museum and saw the Ansel Adams At the Waters Edge Exhibit incredible.  Salem is a lovely little town. We were shocked that there is so much dedicated to "witches".
